Event Manager
Overview:
- Primarily be responsible for the the production of events from conception through to completion.
- Achieve and maintain the highest level of customer confidence and satisfaction by serving the customers’ needs and ensuring high quality performance of all event management activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Work under the Director to develop project implementation proposals & lead assigned team in implementation.
2. Handle multiple events & activation projects with assigned team.
3. Show full cooperative spirit with Director and Account Manager in all Events & BTL Management functions.
4. Ensure that all projects assigned run smoothly, without error & within budget.
5. Strengthen client relationships.
6. Report to Director & Business Unit Leader on all aspects of the projects.
7. Professionally lead & manage projects by providing day-to-day constant leadership on assigned implementation projects:
a) Provide strong execute directions to team members as needed.
b) With the team, develop all necessary paper-work for events-related projects as follows:
- Cost Estimates
- Project Timetables
- Pre-production Meeting Document/s
- Production Guide
- Internal & External Communication documents related to projects
- Cost/profit Analysis per project
- Others to be identified
c) Trouble shooting
d) Supplier Management:
- Ensuring 100% transparency on Supplier Cost Negotiation for Events handled
- Supplier Bidding & Contracts for all projects (2- 3 suppliers minimum)
- Supplier Negotiation in coordination with Director
8. Training & Mentoring assigned Events & Activation Team
a) Over-all responsibility of training up junior team members
b) Mentoring on Proposal Development & churning out higher quality reports
c) Instill a professional agency culture among team members assigned

- In touch with what’s new & goings on in the market.
9. Coaching & developing staff.
10. Being in charge of reports: Contact report, WIP, Billing report
Requirements:
* A Bachelor’s degree, priority in management, marketing and for graduating from business schools.
* At least 5 years of relevant working experience, experience in advertising, events, activation, PR is a plus.
* At least 01 year experience at equivalent position.
* Solid working experience in a reputable agency.
* Ability to work independently doing a variety of tasks and work effectively under high pressure situations.
* Good communication and negotiation skills.
* Demonstrated marketing and sales skills.
* Result oriented and self-motivated.
* Excellent verbal and written English.
* Teamwork skills.
* Self-confidence, clever, innovation and professional performance.
* Solid computer skills; MS computer skills.
* Strong sense of urgency and confidentiality.
* Detail-oriented with a keen eye on deadlines.
